Turmeric Pan-Seared Fish:

6 oz orange roughy (can use any mild, white fish e.g. Mahi-Mahi, Halibut, Tilapia)

1 tsp olive oil

Minced garlic

Turmeric, chili powder, oregano, black pepper, pink salt

Sauteed Veggies:

1 tsp olive oil or avocado oil

Broccoli florets

Cauliflower florets

Red cabbage

Brussel sprouts (pre-cooked)

Chopped sweet potato (pre-cooked)

1 T parmesan cheese

Turmeric, chili powder, oregano, black pepper, pink salt


Turmeric Pan-Seared Fish:
  1. Preheat the oven to broil.
  2. Season orange roughy with all dry seasonings and minced garlic on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in skillet. Place fish in the skillet, flipping after about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  4. Place fish on a baking sheet and broil for about 6-8 minutes, until fish is cooked through.
Sautéed Veggies:
  1. While fish is in the oven, heat another tsp of olive oil in skillet.
  2. Add handful of each of the veggies (can use other kinds as well, this was what I had left in the fridge 🙂 ) and season with dry seasoning.
  3. Cook, stirring every so often, until veggies are browned.
  4. Serve fish over veggies and top with Parmesan cheese.
